Liquid Skulls – “Mutt”

There is a distinct and dark aroma surrounding the latest Liquid Skulls single. Much like its name would suggest, “Mutt” is a motley beast that lurks somewhere in the blackness just beyond the tree line. And similar to the wispy ectoplasm gracing the single’s artwork, the track seemed to issue forth uninhibited from the minds of bandmates Jimmy Spice and Jack Lloyd.
From Jimmy:
After recording most of ‘In Lungs’ via e-mail between Memphis and Little Rock, me and Jack were able to actually sit in the same room for the first time in 6 months. Being able to feed off of each other face-to-face gave “Mutt” a lot of unexpected energy. Hopefully this energy will guide the sound of our future material.
