After the success of the first Sunrise Blend compilation, up and coming French label, Juicy, has decided to give the dance floor another summertime blessing. Sunrise Blend 2 is a collection of songs from 27 unique artists, all of whom seem to take a very nostalgic approach to their music. A lot of the songs have a strong sense of the sensual elements associated with early funk, house, and 80′s disco. Taking this insatiable energy and infusing it with slick vocal samples and airy, electronic production, all the artist on Sunrise Blend 2 manage to pull off a rebirth, with tracks that collectively tip their hats to the sexy sounds of the past while ushering in a new era of futuristic heat for dance floors and bedrooms everywhere.
On the 3 song sampler for the Sunrise comp, which drops on July 1st, Manchester producer Sivey delivers some deep, sexual vibrations on the song titled “A Little Help.”
The track starts off very smooth, building up to the dirtiest, bass synth drop you’ll ever hear. As the beat skates through funky, cosmic sounds and trademark R&B drum snaps, you can hear a sexy siren crooning the words “my room” in the distance. The enticing offer is repeated throughout the duration of the track, leaving you both hot and subdued by the grooved out vibes once you make it to the quiet piano outro at the 3 minute mark.
