StaG – “Summerfoot”

“Summerfoot,” StaG‘s latest is a shimmering pop ballad that dances the melancholy line between bright and sullen—the perfect compliment to a solitary drive. The band has recently made a trek of their own, moving from Colorado to LA just in time for our Los Angeles Traveling Showcase. I can’t help but think that the longing feeling of leaving captured in “Summerfoot” is related to their recent relocation.
The track is the first single off of StaG‘s upcoming full-length, entitled When It Falls Apart, which the band has graciously described:
Written as a therapeutic reaction to personal failures, ‘When It Falls Apart,’ explores the instant emotional response that’s usually stopped by common sense, and the ultimately destructive consequences that happen as a result.
