EXETER – “88MPH”

The sleek, chrome-plated sounds of Toronto’s recent RBMA graduate, EXETER (aka Evan Doyle), reappear in this racing, funk-infused dancehall track.  “88MPH”, a likely homage to the speed necessary for Delorean time-travel, begins with a subtle glow of flickering highway lights.  And with a burst of fossil fuel, Doyle mounts a series of humming bass, vocal blips, and soaring synth patches that propel the listener toward the distant gloaming horizon.

You should immediately add this to your night drive playlist and feel invincible as you coast to your next destination — whatever year that may be.

“88MPH” is part of Canada’s latest Scion Sessions initiative.
