H. Hawkline – “Black Domino Box” (Official Video)

If the first released track, “Black Domino Box”, is any indication of the new H. Hawkline EP (out 8/20 via Rough Trade), this will be the work that officially puts his Welsh weirdo-folk on the map. Throughout the EP, Hawkline is said to channel idol Richard Brautigan through a “rough cement mixture of rock sludge, felt and seaweed.”

So what’s the weirdest thing you can find in the Casey Raymond produced “Black Domino Box” video? I’m still deciding, but I think it’s the drink umbrella turned treasure map that comes out of what appears to be a Mackerel’s mouth. Whatever you do, don’t miss the epic ending!
