If  you are a music collector this is going to be a release that should definitely catch your eye. One of the most enduring reasons to purchase physical media such as vinyl and cassettes is because of releases like this one. Babe, Terror‘s latest outing, the Knights EP, is being released through Phantasy & Because Music and it comes on a beautifully etched vinyl. Check out some pics of the details on this thing:

Hailing from São Paulo, Babe, Terror has been dabbling in darkness for over three years now. His releases almost always command a thorough listen through high-quality headphones with the sheer lushness of his electronic drone being cheapened by any other speaker system. In fact, he has labeled his music “headphonetronica” on his Bandcamp page in order to clue you in. It’s a very dense listen and one that will probably change the climate of your headspace.

Another thing about Babe, Terror that you should know is that he is about visuals almost as much as he is about the music. In addition to releasing the EP on those gorgeous etched records, he has designed each track on the release to be accompanied by videos and photo sets. To fully understand what I’m talking about, first check out the track “Savagestic” and view some of the selected photos from its accompanying set.

‘Changing your headspace’ is a perfect description of this sound. So subtle and subversive.

Listening while looking at the images makes them appear as if they’re moving.
