S U R F I N G is an Australian electro-pop trio with a distinguished ability to craft sun-kissed analog pop nodders.  Their debut full-length Deep Fantasy is overflowing with red-waxed slow rollers and Malibu-breezed sunset charmers, all of which contain a dark, introspective emotional core.  The entire album is dripping with seduction… from the Patrick Nagel-inspired album art to the yacht-rock staple “Sailing” sampling, Deep Fantasy is immediately captivating.  I’d recommend purchasing a tape for these final waning summer weeks, however, the limited edition run from Airlines Tapes has been sold out for some time—here’s hoping for a reissue!  You can buy the album from the Airlines Tapes Bandcamp page for a measly $5… well worth it!
