Rey Villalobos makes dreamy, forlorn, yet beautiful, sounding folk as House of Wolves. His debut album ‘Fold In The Wind’ knocked our socks off last year with singles like “50s” that literally made you want to kiss someone like it’s the 50s. He’s continued, hard at work touring and making gems like this cover of David Bowie‘s “Modern Love”. And it’s just what you want from a cover. Rey keeps the essence of the song intact, while surrounding it with a sound exclusively House of Wolves. And if that wasn’t enough, Steffaloo adds her gracious back up vocals just to sweeten the pot.
