Edmontonian Renny Wilson‘s brand new album, Sugarglider, is out. We got to hear a single from the album a while ago, when “By And By”, the albums opener, came to us like a dream.
Well at long last the wait is over. The pop sensibilities Renny has crafted on this album are not something you can just learn, there is something about them that is innate. Stemming from a deep love of soft rock, Renny weaves together fatty bass licks, almost floating rhythms, air-like vocals, and when we’re lucky, a saxophone to sex things up a bit. From start to finish, Sugarglider is a full-fledged pop journey you will not soon forget.
