Tablets – “Hunting For Your Shadow”

Tablets are the side-project of the Ireland-based synthwave band Low Sea. In between albums for Low Sea (they have a new one coming out in September via Dell’Orso/Southern Records entitled Remote Viewing) the duo of Bobby and Billie decided to record some tangents under Tablets. The result of this is the mighty fine self-titled EP which is now available for streaming and purchase on Bandcamp. The first track “Hunting For Your Shadow” definitely packs that Low Sea vibe but noticeably more bouncier/spacier. Here’s what Bobby had to say:
Well, Low Sea are releasing our second album later this year. We’ve also a European tour in November, but just to keep us even busier, we decided to start an off-shoot group, Tablets. It’s just Billie and I again, but lyrically and musically we wanted Tablets to be looser sounding, and lyrically exploring themes of the universe, physics and spirituality.
A full length Tablets LP is also in the works. Also the third track on the EP, “I Feel Uneasily Loved”, will be featured on an upcoming compilation from Mannequin.
