The Spookfish – ‘Tree’

Sep 14, 2012 by     2 Comments    Posted under: EPs, Sounds

Dan Goldberg records under his pseudonym The Spookfish. With his latest release, Tree, Goldberg showcases an affinity for woozy synthesizers as well as the American Primitive picking style of John Fahey. Every track is a heartfelt, lo-fi transmission defined by timbres that impel introspection. Goldberg even carries his non-traditional musings beyond the recording process and he regularly hosts shows that revolve around hikes in New York.

Stream Tree below, and be sure to like his facebook page so you can explore the forest with The Spookfish himself.

What no one knows is that I’m actually sitting three feet to the left of him when this pic was taken
