HAERTS – “Wings” (Official Video)
Posted under: Two weeks ago, a gorgeous track titled “Wings” made the rounds through the blogosphere and left a bunch of music nerds feeling pretty darn good.
But the question still remains: Who are HAERTS ?
This mysterious New York artist is keeping the details pretty minimal, so I guess we’ll have to be patient for now.
The visuals for the track “Wings” aren’t as pleasing as the song itself. In fact, the whole scene is actually quite disturbing. The grim reaper lurks in the haze while a group of young kids all fall victim to accidental deaths. Drowning, electric shock, you name it, it happens.
Stunning, yet somewhat unsettling, the video adds to the mystique surrounding Haerts‘ floaty dream pop jams. Oddly enough, the visuals and song seem like a perfect comparing, considering how creepy the whole thing is.
The moral of day kids is “Play Safe”. Also, maybe watch out for the dude in a black cloak waiting for you to die.
The Double-A single for Wings/All The Days is due out on November 6th.
We’ll see what the future holds for them.
