WEEKENDS - A Defining Love Video

Baltimore’s Weekends are close to completing their upcoming LP, New Humans—an album that sees them refining their explosive energetic psyched out sound. “A Defining Love” is the first single off the new record and it comes with a rowdy tomato-crushing video. Adam Lempel gives us a bit more info on it:

The “A Defining Love” video was filmed by Tyler W. Davis who also filmed the Copycat Project video we were in a few months back. It features two of our friends, Miranda Pfeiffer and Lydia Gammill, rocking out as Weekends, instead of us. It was an idea for a video that I had to kind of create this alternate band “Weekends” that consists of two girls playing grungy rock. There’s a lot of footage of flowers and glitter and things that reminded me of something delicate and feminine contrasted with the dirtiness of the the distortion and just balls out visceral rocking out. I think we went for something both sexy and dirty. We filmed it in the basement of the Bell Foundry and in the loading dock of the Copycat building

Weekends has a kickstarter for the final production of the LP…but with only 9 days left they still could use a whole lot of help! If you dig their sound, head over to Weekends’ Kickstarter to give Adam and Brendan a hand.
