Alphabets – “Still Born, Shut Up” & “Geckoring”

The last time I saw the prolific Alphabets (Colin Ward), he was in a orange rain poncho (indoors), serenading an exotic Japanese dinosaur by blowing into a recorder and blasting glitchy bass bombs. His set was one of my favorites of GOLDRUSH 2012. He recently released a debut cassette called On Champagne and Greyhounds via Fire Talk. “Still Born, Shut Up” is the cassettes first single, and “Geckoring” is my current go to slow-rave jam.
