Guilty Ghosts – ‘Trespasser’ EP

Being a huge fan of last year’s VEILS by Guilty Ghosts (Tristan O’Donell), I was pretty excited when he recently released the Trespasser EP (grab it here for a donation). The tracks on this EP are simple, yet complex, familiar, yet untamed. While most music these days tries so hard to make you feel a certain way or fit a certain image, it’s the lack thereof in Guilty Ghosts‘ music that creates the ultimate freedom. O’Donell uses a subtle black and white pallet to unveil impossible open spaces, where words are no longer needed to create intense emotions or visions. This is what musical mediation sounds like. Step into the void.
