Many people (actually almost everyone) have probably overlooked Wismar, Germany as a mecca music scene, but perhaps with bands like unhappybirthday that will change. This trio makes incredibly lo-fi, aggressive electronic coldwave killers. Their debut release Sirup was just dropped on Crash Symbols (purchase and stream it).

“Invasion” is a machine gun march, a midnight alleyway run, an underground call to arms…

“Invasion” is a song about a strange undefined yearning – like the most of our songs. We are really sensitive boys. The song was written in only fifteen minutes, but we recorded several version until we were satisfied. Like the whole new album, it was recorded on a 4-track in our living room some day last winter – with maximum overdrive.
