Weekends – “Soaked” + Kickstarter

Baltimore’s Weekends have long been supplying us with beautiful sweat-drenched psych rock.  On the heels of 2011′s superb Strange Cultures LP and the recent release of their Acoustic Tape Volume 1 comes their upcoming LP New Humans….which needs a little help from everyone.  Take a look:

New Humans was recorded by Jeremy Scott (Vivian Girls, These Are Powers, Frankie Rose, Total Slacker) and will feature album art by Baltimore’s Chris Day.  The band just needs a little financial help to finish the recording process and get it in a physical form. Participate in the Kickstarter here.

As an added bonus Adam Lempel and Brendan Sullivan were nice enough to let PORTALS introduce this new song from the LP to everyone. “Soaked” is louder, crisper, and more expansive than any (recorded) Weekends song that I have heard.
