Arca – “2 Blunted” / “DOEP”

A week and a half ago, Art Basel took over Miami. I had a few friends visit for the weekend. It was really fun to have a bunch of music nerds in one apartment geeking out about music every night until early in the morning. Amid all the concerts and hazy nights, one artist that I was introduced to completely blew me away. Arca combines bizarre production styles with carefully and meticulously crafted sounds to create beats that have been unheard in today’s modern music landscape. This dude is on a wave of the future. He hasn’t put out anything new relatively recently, but get to know his music. Rumor has it something new and exciting is in the works.
