Ex-Breathers – ‘Collisions’

Although I don’t listen to heavier music much these days, there are certain times when the right band plays the right rifts that I can’t help but resonate with. Tallahassee based band, Ex-Breathers did just that for me over the Christmas holiday. Their sound brings nostalgic reminders of being young, and listening to Fugazi and Suicidal Tendencies. It’s definitely no easy feat to bring that sound while still creating a unique perspective, but Ex-Breathers do it with expertise.

Their new album, Collisions, is available on their bandcamp digitally, but if you’re looking for a physical copy of this gem, Spirit Cat will be producing a tape in the near future.
