M|O|D – ‘PENG 003′

The M|O|D crew are back with the final installment in their recent trio of EP’s, PENG 003. Continually evolved from their earlier trap-heavy M|O|D 1-1v series, the Boston quintet of Arnold, C.Z., Yung Satan, Rewrote, and Lil Texas continue to push their distinctly unique takes on dance music into new territory. As in the previous PENG releases, the group explores jungle, uk funky, 90′s hip hop, and more, with each venture further expanding their collective palette and differentiating themselves from each other.
03 feels like their most consistent release to date, and to me, it’s an incredibly satisfying way for the group to end this era before revealing their next venture.
