Lovelier Other – “Hidden Shelters”

Back in November of 2012, we fell in love with the beautifully crafted, lone single “Leave This Behind” from the currently anonymous project Lovelier Other. “Leave This Behind” was a fresh slice of low key, piano-driven pop—best suited for a quiet night inside with a bottle of red wine and a few of your closest friends. “Hidden Shelters” is an equally gorgeous gem with a heartbreaking vocal melody that feels softer than silk.

“Hidden Shelters” is about discerning why I make music and what I get out of creating it for myself. I was getting to the point where I was wondering why I was even doing it and whether or not I should continue or just go find a conventional job.
