Whitney Gould is part of the Seattle electronic gem of a band, SPORTS.  While not pursuing that avenue, he’s steadily creating music as Heart Island.  Right now he’s exploring his music via the remix form… and it’s so nice to hear the thick lustrous synth power of SPORTS blended into some rad remixes.  One of note is his remix of Nomadic Firs‘ “Vines”, but he recently sent over a brand new rework of Seattle’s Concours d’Elegance and their track “Move With The Shadows”.  The original is pretty badass and Heart Island‘s rework keeps pace, giving it a bit more…fun.
