Enjoyed – “Paws (Vanilla Remix)”

Enjoyed‘s tropical melodic joystep has been underrated for a long time now. His originals have perhaps been a bit less appreciated than the remixes he has done. A perfect example is the incredible remix he did of tUnE-yArDs‘ Bizness, which I’ve been playing on a regular basis since I heard it.

This time Enjoyed is the one being remixed by one of UK’s finest  beatstrumentalists Vanilla, whose beat compilation, High Life is a must for any fan of Dilla-esque instrumental hip hop. On this mix, Vanilla lays down the boom bap above Enjoyed‘s weaving synths and dreamy vocal cuts alongside a wacky bass line that takes charge.
