戶本也خि i也® (Påς¿Fîç®) – “Pathways (ft. Flow Anastasia)”

Despite the absolutely intelligible name (for us English speakers anyway, and besides, imagine trying to announce this on radio) 戶本也خि i也® is two bizarre and wondrous producers from god knows where.

In “Pathways”, Canadian vocalist FlowAnastasia lays harrowing, phone-recorded vocals over Påς¿Fî箑s (as she refers to them) woozy beat. The complexity grows. In doing so, this track becomes a slipstream that takes you slowly on a winding vortex down into the depths of subconsciousness. It is the beauty of falling asleep. And if that beauty had a soundtrack, this would be it.
