Tyler just gave me the heads up that our boy Darcy Baylis aka Naminé has had Mondre M.A.N. (from Main Attrakionz) rhyme over one of his beats. The track has just popped up on Mondre M.A.N.’s latest tape, MC Illin. You might have heard one of Darcy‘s smooth, pensive tracks over the last year or so as he’s been making waves in the blog world, including a small feature on Vice Spain. Life Aquatic Records made Darcy their first release because we saw the potential in this talented 16 year old Melbourne resident (you can buy the 7″ vinyl over here).

This beat has been perfectly tailored to Mondre’s reverberated smoked up rhymes and moans, its deep tasty synths and sparse vocal samples leave plenty of room for Mondre’s emotional cloud rap.
