MPSO, or Mount Pleasant Sympathy Orchestra is Daniel Grey. You might know him from Memoryhouse, where he is a vital part of their mystic dream pop sensibilities. However, as MPSO, he finds his own sensibilities which sometimes lay in the ambient depths of layered loops and compounded vocals. And sometimes, they lay in the tides of folk and pop, giving you something to sing along to and get stuck in your head.
His new album Wisdom Teeth is set to release on the day of love, February 14th. And from it, he’s sharing with us what could play as the ‘heart’ of the album, “Let Go” and “Falling”, as one consecutive track. According to Daniel, the two songs are essentially two parts of the same song, so it made sense to give them away together, lest the other feel abandoned.
