Baths - “Miasma Sky”

“Miasma Sky” has been out for a bit now and already Baths‘ Second LP, Obsidian, seems easily contrasted with a lot of what Cerulean had to offer. Still, Will Wisenfield’s production is just as powerful as ever. Its bleak moments don’t come without a heavy dance backdrop etched throughout the lead track, while its blended output remains consistent around Wisenfield’s vocal introspection. Of course, the rest of Obsidian may fall behind an entirely different frame of mind.
