About A Million is the brainchild of mostly Anthony Leitch. He has released two records on Already Dead Tapes & Records, the last of which came out back in February of 2012. His Tumblr has been inactive for the past year. One would think this kid was dead, hiding deep in a cave, sheltered from the daylight… until this past September, when Already Dead Tapes & Records put out their Third Annual Compilation that features a new tune from the Honey Brook, PA songwriter. He makes sincere and heartfelt folk with a delicious pop twist. In “Swept Up,” he blends obscure toy instruments and what sounds like a xylophone (or some sort of mallet instrument) into a delightful upbeat tune, suggesting more listening is on the way.
