British rapper Tay Devenny closed out the first month of this year with the release of his new album shrine, which can be downloaded for free on his Bandcamp page. His own selected standout track, “Arabian Seas,” flows and recedes like a wave, some sections rich with Devenny’s and featured rapper Danny Watts‘ drawling yet dynamic lyricism, other sections spacious and calm, allowing the gloomy sample to take center stage for a few seconds, before another impressive verse arrives once again to grab our attention.
