Madison, Wisconsin synth auteur Joel Shanahan makes delightfully airy music under the moniker Auscultation. On June 3rd 1080p will release his newest tape S/T. The most recently released cut from the record is “Tied,” a funky bit of house and disco that slowly fades into focus before a bubbly melody takes the track skyward. It’s a humble, celebratory bit of dance music from a surprising location, and the rest of the album promises “high-reaching emotive intent” and “overwhelmingly psychedelic sensations.” Vibes, man.
