“Don’t sweat it,” goes the refrain of Cancers‘ new single. “Helpless” slams along, following the beat of a bellowing kick drum. Earlier in the summer, the band revealed a new song, “Missed,” introducing their newly adopted sound.

This single further marks the departure for the Athens based duo, experimenting with more production and putting the whole package to wax. Staunch and noisy guitars make this track feel live, making you bob your head along like you’re standing in the back of Flicker Bar or Shea Stadium, sipping on a little Modelo. So sweat we will, as the song proves sweet, lonely and found all at once.
